Send an enquiry

Make the tightening requirement clear in your enquiry

Describe the cap as it arrives at the machine: loose, manually placed, partly engaged or automatically supplied. Add the bottle material, filled condition and any features that restrict access to the closure. If a torque requirement exists, identify its source and the way it is checked rather than sending an unexplained number.

For several formats, use matching references on bottle and cap photographs. Name the most important production format and the one that causes the most difficulty. A short description of the existing work sequence helps decide whether the enquiry concerns a compact station, an inline capper or additional cap handling.

Evidence of the problem
For inconsistent closing, retain accepted and affected samples and note when the symptom appears.
Installation context
For a bench project, show the work area; for an inline project, provide adjacent equipment and conveyor details.

What if the closure supplier has not given a torque specification?

Say that it is unresolved. Ask the responsible packaging suppliers what requirements and test method apply, and keep this point visible in the machinery proposal rather than adopting a value from another bottle or cap.
